Buttertubs Pass - PEN00127

Description

The Buttertubs Pass is a high road in the Yorkshire Dales. The road winds north from Simonstone near Hawes towards Thwaite and Muker past 20-metre-deep limestone potholes called the Buttertubs. Also known from the Tour de France as the “Col du Buttertubs”, the summit is around 1,725 feet.
