Carr Laithe Barn, demolished in the 1930s, was built on top of the 'tunnels', which were used as a munition stores in WW2.

Croft Gate is possibly the oldest stone built house in Todmorden and is dated 1598. It is now in 2 occupations and has a bay that was added on the east side in the early 18th century.
